Jess Windle is a photographer from Lincoln. Her main interest within photography is fashion, but she also loves wedding photography and portraiture. The most recent series that Jess has been working on is called 'Exposed'.

 

'I found inspiration for this photo series after realising the danger of taking selfies. When we give an app access to our camera or microphone, we are giving it access to use them at any point - even if our phones are locked. Some apps store every image we ever take, in their system for 30 days. The point is, no one knows who is actually seeing our selfies. I particularly thought this was scary for those sending suggestive images of themselves - hence the clothing choices that my model wears. I chose to have my model taking a selfie, as this represents the person(s) who can see her, though she is not aware. The final image shows the exhaustion of trying to take a flattering selfie.'
