My project explores the change in style of influential women of both current culture and the past few decades, in the form of stacked portraiture image averages. I wanted to explore how women are presented and how this has changed over time, many women in current times look very similar, whereas women for example in the 1990s had more variation in their styles. The first image presents an average of 50 influential women in the 1990s, and the other is equivalent of the 2010s. Notice the difference in face shape and features, they reflect the average face of these decades. Accompanied by typologies to illustrate the people who make up this face.
